Today’s Top Ten AI-Generated Crime Areas Ranked by Law Enforcement Officers Surveyed and Needed Automated Investigation Products Identified

Generative AI and agentic platforms are explicitly designed to accelerate productivity. That is great news for LEAs faced with overwhelming data and information sources. ISS vendors routinely show how investigation and evidence collection efforts can be reduced to minutes – instead of days or weeks. The ROI is amazing.

On the other hand, AI technology is a double-edged sword. To the extent that industry is automating their processes and capabilities with AI tech, so can criminals, traffickers, scammers, terrorists. AI enables reach, capabilities, scale and precision never seen before.

This webinar is based on survey responses from law enforcement and homeland security officers on what the press and other media have reported as AI-Generated crimes. Also what our survey asked law enforcement and homeland security officers what ISS automation products are needed to investigate these AI-Generated reported crimes. Specifically:

I. Top Ten  AI-Generated challenges reported by the press and other media  (Fake News, Voice-Cloning, Identity Theft, ect.) and law enforcement and homeland security officers survey responses on each challenge regarding:

  • a. Very Challenging
  • b. Moderately Challenging
  • c. Not Significantly Challenging
  • d. Haven’t Encountered at this time

II. What other AI-Generated Crime areas have you encountered that have not been reports in the press and other media.

III. What specifically makes AI-Generated crimes challenging for investigators

IV. What publicly available Generative AI services are used by the criminal elements to carryout AI-Generated crimes.

V. Automated ISS products needed today to support AI-Generated crime investigations as identified in our survey of law enforcement and homeland security officers
