De-Anonymizing Criminal Communications

TOR, VPNs, Satellite, Telegram, i2P, Crypto and other obfuscation platforms are mainstream for criminals, terrorists, traffickers, launderers, state adversaries and other bad actors to hide illicit activity. Deanonymizing these platforms has proven to be difficult and expensive, typically requiring expensive point solutions that limit investigations to only the most serious cases and threats. That’s unacceptable.

This webinar will look at new techniques to fuse bits of information from advertisement, satellite, network and other sources to reveal user identities and/or device identifiers. Specific topics include:

  • Revealing the individuals and networks hiding behind anonymization tools
  • Uncovering the digital infrastructure enabling illicit activity
  • Attributing criminal actions to real-world identities
  • Analyzing behavioral patterns to support early detection and prevention
  • Bridging the gap between digital anonymity and physical accountability
  • Operational considerations
